Electrosteel DI Pipes in Arunachal
Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh is often called the Switzerland of India.
Moored high up in the mountain ranges of the Himalayas, at 3500 meters above sea level, this hidden paradise evokes images of awesome mountain views, remote hamlets, quaint and sleepy villages, magical Gompas, tranquil lakes and a lot more.
Unfortunately, in this land of lakes, pure drinking water had always been in short supply.
In 2005 the Arunachal Pradesh government implemented a drinking water supply project capable of supplying 1.63 million litres of fresh water per day to Tawang.
The Ductile Iron pipes were from #Electrosteel, with a record of supplying drinking water pipes to inhospitable regions globally.
Twelve years later, the pipes are still in place.
And Tawang is as beautiful as ever.
