Do #Electrosteel pipes have a magnetic personality?
Electrosteel takes great care to ensure its Ductile Iron pipes are not damaged while being unloaded. The pipes have various types of coatings depending on the soil — in fact, most of these coatings are soft and polymeric in nature.
Here’s a snapshot of DI Pipes being unloaded in France, where a magnet is used for handling equipment. The magnet, which has minimum contact with the pipe, ensures the external coating and internal lining of the pipe are not damaged.
